Although Go Quads are small go-karts, the seats are not fit for small kids. When my son would drive his Go Quad I would watch as he held on for dear life when cornering. I found a couple of kid kart seats online and decided to mount them to the existing seat on the GoQuad. I did it this way because I did not want to mess with making custom seat struts to hold the seats in place. The Go Quad is made from thin wall square tubing so I did not want to weld to it or drill any additional holes in the frame. This option worked perfect and the seats are very secure.
The finished seat modification with my son in the drivers seat. Mounting the kid kart seat to the existing seat will make it easy to move and relocate. As he grows, I can exchange the large spacers with smaller spacers until he fits the original seat. By that time he will be to big for the Go Quad anyway.
